"My heart was rapping so fast, I thought I would have a heart attack. I was too excited, too worked up, too damn hot, and it wasn’t because I was in a hot tub.”
Courtney has had her eye on the gym’s top fitness instructor for months. He’s popular with the ladies, so she’s only been able to watch him from a distance.
What she doesn’t know is, he’s been watching her too.
Who said going to the gym was a waste of time?

I hurried out of the tub, grabbed my towel and dipped into the women’s locker room. When I got to my locker, I stared at the pink combination lock like it was a foreign object.
Shit! What’s the combination?
It’d been in my memory bank for months, now I couldn’t remember it. Not one single number. Goddammit, that man has my mind all muddled! I’d literally drawn a blank.
“Looks like you gotta run.”
Startled, I jerked up with a shriek.
Standing at the locker room doorway, Chad skipped backwards and let out a delayed scream.
I burst out laughing.
He laughed too. “Want me to walk you to your car?”
“I, uh…” My eyes danced over his frame. “That would be nice.”
He had donned a shirt, but he still wore the same swim shorts. His shaft still clung to his thigh, though sadly, it wasn’t as erect as it was earlier.
“What’s wrong? Why’re you looking at me like that?” He approached me with a seductive saunter.
“Uhm…” I clutched my towel over my body, not sure what to say. My feet began to shuffle backwards. Why am I running from him? The way he made me feel, it both excited and frightened me. “I—I can’t remember my combination.”
He glanced at the lock and chuckled. “Do you want to remember the combination?”
“I…” My back met the nearby wall. I took a deep breath in attempt to calm my rattled nerves. “I don’t know,” I whispered.
He moved closer. “Okay, well here are your options. I can either go get the shears and cut the lock for you…” His tongue briefly eased out and swept over his lips, wetting them. “Or you can hang out with me for a while.” He plucked the flower clamp out of my hair. My wild, curly mane bounced free. “That is, until your memory comes back.”
